The Seattle-to-Fresno Mini Rogue returns to Tower District for its 5th Anniversary!

Take a break from the more traditional theatrical fare found in the thick of a Fresno summer! The Seattle-to-Fresno Mini Fringe is back for their fifth consecutive year of fusing local and touring Fringe theatre artists in a best-of-fringe celebration. With five unique shows and ten performances over just three days, this festival will bring the return of Rogue Festival favorites, and a few new faces too!

The Seattle-to-Fresno Mini Fringe is curated by former Rogue producer Jayne Daye and Seattle’s Minion Productions. The event is sponsored by the Rogue Festival to bring fierce Fringe theatre performances to the Valley year-round.

This year’s year’s line-up features Fresno favorites mixed with visiting artists from up and down the West Coast. From dance to comedy, storytelling, music, and more, this festival has something for everyone!

The Shay & Shay Radio Hour – By Aaron Shay and Sarah Shay

The singer-songwriter siblings return to Fresno to bring you stories of heartbreak, friendship, and science fiction, all seasoned with their winsome charm and wry humor. Enjoy witty, original tunes, including space-faring sea shanties, pop culture break-up songs, and just about everything in between. It’s a Two Shay Ship Show!

A Formal Feeling – By Fresno Dance Collective – NOCO

A Formal Feeling is a 45-minute exploration of constructing and deconstructing the idea of individuality in a group-think atmosphere. Addressing how individuals can express themselves to their truest forms while adhering to societal standards and the harmony or discontent that this can cause.

Les Bancs: An Interstellar Clown Show – By Les Bancs

All the other astronauts had the day off, so these three clowns got their big break to go on a mission to the moon and completely messed it up. Will they band together to last in their lonely lunar landscape? Or will their tumultuous tensions propel them to blast each other into space dust? Stay tuned!

Alice – By Simpson Theatricals

A comic retelling of Lewis Carroll’s famous books in a modern and relatable setting. A modern romp through a classic Wonderland by way of broad comedy, puppets, and freshmen English papers! Alice is a fun exploration of kids views on literature, substance, and human experience.

Suburban Tribe: Unmasked – By Kate Mura

The story of a dreamer beat down by life but keeps on dreaming about the big win with scratchers. Barbie Q is the queen of the trailer park and works hard – hard being the operative word here – at keeping that title. Maybe, just maybe, she will come out on top.
